A Tale As Old as Time
I absolutely adore it when love takes its time, and in the case of Holly and Daniel, their journey is something out of a storybook. They’ve known each other forever but sometimes, it takes one fateful holiday to realize that your best friend might just be your soulmate. Who could’ve imagined a holiday meant for couples could result in such a beautiful love story?
When in Rome
And speaking of surprises, Daniel certainly knows how to pick a moment. Proposing in Rome at midnight on New Year’s Eve? Talk about heart-fluttering romantic gestures. The cheeky touch of using a plastic Primark ring was just so them. It added a dash of humor to a deeply emotional moment and showed his eagerness to ensure Holly got exactly what her heart desired.
Elegance at Dodford Manor
Getting ready for the day, Holly was nestled in at Little Glen Road, while Daniel prepped at Staverton Park Hotel. Both were surrounded by a bubble of excitement and anticipation, and I could feel the energy from both ends.
Their wedding theme was ‘Simple and Classy’, and let me tell you, they hit the nail right on the head. Dodford Manor echoed with laughter, love, and sophistication that was effortlessly chic. The decor, the attire, the ambiance – everything exuded grace.
Wedding Whims & Moments to Remember
The thing about Holly and Daniel is, they have this infectious energy. Their love story is not just theirs; they have a way of making everyone a part of it. As they exchanged vows and began their journey as a married couple, the air was thick with emotion, joy, and celebration.
One of my personal favorite moments as their wedding Photographer at Dodford Manor was our quick photo session. While their guests mingled, enjoyed canapes, and raised their glasses in celebration, we stole a few moments to capture some intimate shots. It was a joy to capture them in those first few hours as husband and wife.

And as the evening descended, the party spirit escalated. If I thought I had seen vibrant dance floors before, this one was on another level. The sheer joy, the laughter, the crazy dance moves – it was a feast for the senses!
