From the moment I met Lindsay & John, there was this undeniable spark between them. It’s no wonder they swiped right on each other’s hearts! Today, we delve into their modern tale of love, which took a classic turn with the historic Dronfield Hall Barn as their chosen wedding venue, creating an unforgettable day.
Tinder Sparks and ‘Friends’ References
Who says fairytales can’t start online? Lindsay & John’s did. Meeting a day sooner than planned, thanks to John’s impromptu return from London, they’ve been inseparable since. Their wedding mirrored their unique journey with subtle hints of rose gold, blush and glitter, and of course, those quirky ‘Friends’ references for the eagle-eyed amongst us.
A Day at the Barn
The day commenced at The Manor House Hotel, where Lindsay and the girls immersed themselves in the buzz of bridal preparations. Their kids, Matty and Evie, were like rays of sunshine, adding an extra layer of warmth to the day. As for Dronfield Hall Barn, it was a sight to behold. Mother Nature, sensing the occasion’s significance, paused the rain allowing us the perfect backdrop for portraits.
Lindsay’s glow was infectious. That happiness when she saw herself all dressed up for the first time, and the subsequent teary-eyed joy when John set his eyes on her, was pure magic.
A Touch of Glitter and Love
Every corner of the barn radiated their chosen theme. The mix of rose gold and blush tones was like a soft glow illuminating the rustic charm of the venue. And those ‘Friends’ touches? Absolute perfection for fans like me.
Rain, Portraits, and Perfect Timing
When you’re in the UK, a little rain is part and parcel of the deal. But on Lindsay & John’s day, the clouds graciously made way right when we needed them to. The resultant portraits? Dreamy, to say the least.
Wrapping up the Day
Every moment at Lindsay & John’s wedding was an ode to their love story. Their wedding day etched joy into every moment, from their children’s giggles to the shimmering decor. Just as they embarked on their journey a little earlier than planned, their wedding marked the beautiful start of numerous memories yet to be made.
Lindsay, and John, diving into your day was a pleasure. Your love story is one for the ages. Here are a few of my absolute favourite moments. (And trust me, picking just a few wasn’t easy!)
