On 22nd April 2022, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Nicolle & Simon’s wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn, in Cheshire! This wedding was absolutely gorgeous, and I couldn’t resist giving this beautiful couple an extended preview of their Wedding Photos.
Simon, who was a chef, and Nicolle, who worked on reception, met at work. Being a total romantic, Simon asked Nicolle on their first date by taking her diary off her and wrote ‘Date with Simon, Look Nice!’ on Sunday evening. Fast forward to now, and their Wedding Day was just as romantic – filled with every little thoughtful detail.
Bridal Preparations began in the stunning on-site bridal suite at Sandhole Oak Barn. While Nicolle and her bridal party were enjoying every second of hair and makeup, I captured every little moment. Nicolle was a natural in front of the camera, sporting a constant smile throughout the day. As you can see, she made the most beautiful bride.
Once Nicolle was completely bridal-ready, it was time to do the reveal with her Dad. This is always one of my favourite moments in any Wedding – but this one was especially beautiful. Nicolle’s dad teared up as soon as he stepped through the door and beamed with pride as he walked toward her for a hug. The room was filled with so much emotion, and I’ll admit, I shed a few tears behind the camera too. It was a beautiful Father/Daughter moment.
Meanwhile, Simon and his groomsmen were living the high life in the on-site Shepherds hut! The gents got ready and made sure that Simon had his pre-wedding beer to celebrate the big day! And of course, we couldn’t forget Nicolle & Simon’s gorgeous dog – Reggie! He was a prominent feature in so many shots throughout the day – he was such a little poser!
Top Table Wedding & Events beautifully decorated the ceremony room at Sandhole. They created a beautiful rustic, barnesque feel that oozed elegance! As Nicolle walked down the aisle to meet Simon, she couldn’t stop smiling! Simon’s eyes filled with pride (and maybe a tear!) as his bride stood beside him, captivated by Nicolle’s stunning beauty.
As the day progressed, Nicolle & Simon enjoyed their time as the newly-wed Mr. and Mrs. Harrison. It was a privilege to capture their chemistry! Couples portraits are an amazing honor, especially with such a fantastic couple like them. They were totally in love, constantly laughing, and natural in front of the camera. As the light faded and the sunset began, we ventured into the nearby fields (with Reggie in tow!) to capture that glowy, orange goodness!
