Bridal Preparations
Victoria got ready with her family, doing her own hair and makeup before heading to Sandhole Oak Barn to meet her groom. Capturing multiple generations getting ready together was special. This part of the day at Sandhole Oak Barn reflected the celebration’s understated elegance, with carefully curated details. Victoria wore a pale grey princess-style gown with a soft faux fur shawl, perfect for a fairytale-like Sandhole Oak Barn wedding.

Weddings in churches are always special to photograph, watching the traditions unfold and the families come together. On the way to Sandhole Oak Barn, I enjoyed the beautiful Cheshire countryside views and the venue’s impressive lake. While Victoria and Stephen hired the barn for their evening Sandhole Oak Barn wedding celebrations, it’s also possible to exclusively book it for your entire wedding. They have some gorgeous spots, including their Clock Tower, which would make for fantastic ceremony photos!
We made the most of the lake backdrop at Sandhole Oak Barn to take lots of pictures of the couple and their guests, and their little Westie also got involved in the festivities! We were lucky enough to have a dramatic, fiery red sunset across the lake at Sandhole Oak Barn in the evening, so we jumped at the chance to get some shots!
Inside the venue at Sandhole Oak Barn, you’ll find a tastefully designed barn setting with rustic beams and an abundance of fairy lights. Every Sandhole Oak Barn wedding detail was a joy to capture because everything was impeccably coordinated. Sparkling gems adorned the cake, and frosted table decor harmonized with the venue’s warmth and the wintry day.
